Find Laptop Info Beside Trackpad
Some laptops have screen size information in their titles. Look, MSI Modern 14 Laptop, the MSI is a brand, and Modern 14 is a model. Here 14 refers to the size of the laptop’s screen. Obviously, it has a 36 cm (14.1 inch) standard display screen.
In cases like this, the screen size information is there in the laptop’s name. And the laptop’s name exists beside the trackpad.

The laptop case, package, cover, or box whatever you call it has the laptop information like brand, model, and specs.

- An application ‘system information’ will pop up and then press enter

- In the above image, you can see my computer’s name. On your laptop, you can find its brand and model.
Now copy the model name of your laptop and paste it into the Google search bar. From the results, you can download the laptop’s manual in a PDF format.

System Information has Screen Pixel Information
Type system information in the Windows search bar and press Enter. The System Information app will open.
Here on the left side, under the system summary, we have 3 options – Hardware Resources, Components, and Software Environment.
Now double-click on Components and choose Display.
Then your laptop screen information will appear on the screen like this. Here my screen pixel resolution is 1920*1200.
In Windows Settings, You can find the Pixels of Your Screen
- Go to the settings page on your Windows laptop. (Press the Windows icon on your keyboard and select the settings icon)
- Choose System among the listed options.
- Then the display settings will open on your screen and there you can find the Display resolution.
- Click on the pixel resolution, and now the system will show the various resolutions, and among these, the system will recommend the maximum supported one – that’s your laptop screen pixel size or resolution.
