Some people don’t understand inches in a better way and they measure in centimeters (cms).

Note: 1 Inch = 2.54 Centimeter (cm)

Use this if you want to find your laptop screen size in centimeters. For example, my laptop is 14 Inches, and if I convert it in centimeters i.e., 14*2.54= 35.56 cm.

Or just make a search on Google like inches to cms. Type the exact inches your laptop has like 14.5, 13.3, etc. You can get the result.

What is A Standard Laptop Screen Size?

A standard laptop screen size ranges from 13’’ to 15’’ to satisfy all types of people like students, employees, gamers, etc. However, the smallest screen size is 11 inches and the big one is 17 inches.

For this method, you need a measuring tape to find your laptop screen size.

Place the measuring tape on the laptop screen (exclude bezel) from top left to bottom right or vice versa. Now you have the laptop screen size in inches. Usually, it is anywhere between 13 to 17 inches.

Find Laptop Info Beside Trackpad

Some laptops have screen size information in their titles. Look, MSI Modern 14 Laptop, the MSI is a brand, and Modern 14 is a model. Here 14 refers to the size of the laptop’s screen. Obviously, it has a 36 cm (14.1 inch) standard display screen.

In cases like this, the screen size information is there in the laptop’s name. And the laptop’s name exists beside the trackpad.

Laptop Package or Box has Screen Size Info

The laptop case, package, cover, or box whatever you call it has the laptop information like brand, model, and specs.

If you have your laptop case with you, go find the screen size on it.

Check in the Laptop Manual

You can find all the details about your laptop in the manual guide. If you don’t have a manual guide, you can download it digitally.

For that, you need to know your laptop model. 

  1. Place your cursor in the Windows search bar and type system information
  2. An application ‘system information’ will pop up and then press enter
  3. Now the system information tab will open like this. Here you can find your laptop model.

  1. In the above image, you can see my computer’s name. On your laptop, you can find its brand and model.

Now copy the model name of your laptop and paste it into the Google search bar. From the results, you can download the laptop’s manual in a PDF format.

In the laptop’s manual, all the details are there along with the laptop’s screen size.

Find the Laptop Model and Search on the Web

Now this one is also something similar to the above thing. 

If you know the laptop model then you can search it on the web and in the results you can find product stores like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.

Your laptop in the Amazon store has the complete information about it which includes screen size.

How to Find Laptop Screen Size in Pixels (px)?

System Information has Screen Pixel Information

Type system information in the Windows search bar and press Enter. The System Information app will open.

Here on the left side, under the system summary, we have 3 options – Hardware Resources, Components, and Software Environment.

Now double-click on Components and choose Display.

Then your laptop screen information will appear on the screen like this. Here my screen pixel resolution is 1920*1200.

In Windows Settings, You can find the Pixels of Your Screen

  1. Go to the settings page on your Windows laptop. (Press the Windows icon on your keyboard and select the settings icon)
  2. Choose System among the listed options.
  3. Then the display settings will open on your screen and there you can find the Display resolution.
  4. Click on the pixel resolution, and now the system will show the various resolutions, and among these, the system will recommend the maximum supported one – that’s your laptop screen pixel size or resolution.
